What if it were you?
PROJECT NAME AND SLOGAN
'' WHAT IF IT WERE YOU''
HEY YOU!
LOOK THROUGH HIS EYES
Information about the project:
It is a social responsibility project which, under the name of Cancer Week, reminds once a year of the difficulties that leukemia patients face in their daily lives, but also of the fact that they are alone with these difficulties while battling the disease.
PROJECT GOAL:
Since it is known that there is a lot of prejudice against bone marrow and stem cell transplants in our country, we want to sign such a social responsibility project for the third time in order to prevent such prejudices.
In addition, our target audience in our new project, which we prepared based on the phrase “Those who can't handle it, don't understand it!”, which we received as a response during the previous project process, is this time a wide range of target groups.
People will question themselves a little because they will take the place of the sick, even if only formally.
In our mini-project called "Let's Defeat the Impossible?", which we will carry out as the second part of the project, we will, in consultation with "Parachute Cafe", help two people with mobility issues (10-14) achieve their dreams thanks to paragliding.
PROJECT STEPS:
First step of the project:
-A tent consisting of three parts is built.
-Section 1 of the STUDIO tent
The part that welcomes the person when entering the tent and where the photo (portrait) is taken.
-2nd part of the tent PHOTOMONTAGE TEAM
The area with our photomontage teams.
-Section 3 of the tent CINEVISION AND EXIT
A completely dark area with a television.
Step One Process Stages:
- The person enters the 1st section of the tent and is photographed (portrait).
- The photo taken goes to the 2nd section, to the photomontage team.
- The person goes to the 3rd area, i.e. the exit area, where they are received by the television. While the person is shown the predetermined film (Dreams of Sick and Normal People), our photomontage team adds a mask to the person's face. When the film ends and the person leaves the tent, the photo taken by our photomontage teams is printed and presented to the person.
Second step of the project:
The previously taken photos are arranged as an exhibition next to the exit area.
Content of the photographs;
Fictional photos related to leukemia.
Third step of the project:
A Red Crescent tent will be set up near our tent, visitors will be made aware of the stem cell transplant, and blood will be taken from people who give their consent for the stem cell transplant.
Fourth step of the project:
A brochure explaining stem cell transplantation is printed and distributed to visitors.
Fifth step of the project:
On the front and back of our tent there will be a section called “Harms of People - Harms of Disease”. In addition, visitors to the exhibition will hear our song, which our team has prepared especially for the name of the project.
Sixth step of the project:
In our mini-project called “Can we conquer the impossible?”, which we will carry out as the second stage of the project, we plan to paraglide two people with mobility issues (10-14) in consultation with “Parachute Cafe” and with the consent of their families.
Seventh step of the project:
All steps are recorded moment by moment and uploaded to social media platforms.
Result:
In our 3-day project we received many stem cell donations and gave hope to thousands of patients.
